Bits of "this and that" are transformed and become part of something new. As the artist, I want to be open to, even surprised by, whatever that turns out to be. How will this old stuff be reborn and reconfigured?"
Rosalind Bloom attended the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, and has an MA in Art History from Columbia University. She has been a teacher, a writer, and a resident at Virginia Center for the Creative Arts and at the Ucross Foundation in Wyoming. She has exhibited regularly in many one person and group shows in a variety of venues. Her mixed media paintings are in collections, both public and private, and are included in several publications. She is a founding member of Assemblage Artists Collective.
